ShiftMed Ranks on Inc. 5000 List for Third Consecutive Year

On-Demand Workforce Management Platform secures #622 on the 2023 Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America

McLean, Va. – August 15, 2023 - Today, Inc. revealed that ShiftMed, one of the largest W-2 healthcare workforce management marketplaces, has ranked number 622 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. For the third year in a row, ShiftMed has continued to climb the ranks of the list, moving from the 1,713th position in 2022 and the 1,396th position in 2021 to secure the 622nd position on this year's list.

ShiftMed employs a pool of over 350,000 certified, W-2 healthcare professionals around the country and partners with over 2,000 healthcare facilities. By serving as the bridge between local healthcare professionals and clinical facilities, ShiftMed fills open shifts in real-time and improves the continuity of patient care amidst the ongoing staffing shortage.

The Inc. 5000 list of 2023 highlights companies that have driven rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and seemingly intractable hiring challenges. Among this year’s top 500 companies, the average median three-year revenue growth rate ticked up to an astonishing 2,238 percent. In all, this year’s Inc. 5000 companies have added over one million jobs to the economy over the past three years.

On this year’s list, ShiftMed ranked in the top 12% of companies overall and one of the fastest growing in both the healthcare segment and the Washington D.C. metro region.

"We are immensely proud to make our third appearance on the Inc. 5000 list. This achievement showcases the dedication of our remarkable and dynamic team at ShiftMed," said Todd Walrath, CEO and founder of ShiftMed. "In a year where many companies are adjusting to the Post-Covid economy, ShiftMed continues to create value for nurses across the entire spectrum of healthcare including solutions for large health systems.”
